A little about colours in general...
Each colour possesses its own unique energy and by encompassing this into your rituals you increase the potency of your work. Study my own interpretation of the various colours shown below to get a feeling for a way in which you could work with them, your ideas may change as time goes by - mine have and still do - and you don't need to follow my guide, but take from it what you will and leave the rest aside.
I use my astrological knowledge to help me arrive at the conclusions I offer to you below...

A little about candles in general...
Candles are available just about everywhere you look today and make wonderful displays of colour and light for decorative purposes, but the candles a Witch uses for the purposes of spell casting are a different matter...
The spell candle is the heart and essence of our invocations, the light of our inspirations, and is our instrument in connecting to the Goddess and the God. From its very genesis the spell candle should remain free from negativity and only know good intent providing an unblemished page upon which our innermost wishes can be etched and sent into the ether.
You can have faith in my candles as from the moment of their visualisation to their realisation they are in surroundings that are positive, peaceful and free from 'clutter' (both physical and mental) and will provide you with a trustworthy and ethical beginning upon which your dearest hopes can be inscribed.
They are a solid colour and the small ones burn for about an hour, the larger, for two hours. To help you choose the most suitable colours for your needs, I have made a table, which is shown below, and encompassed as much information as I can into it. This is my own interpretation so please feel free to use your own intuition while you refer to it as a rough guide. Inevitably you will feel drawn to change, which is entirely natural and indeed desirable.
The many books readily available today that focus entirely on spell craft are unlikely to give you the sound knowledge that will provide a well-constructed foundation for you to make your own choices relating to colours, aromas and crystals etc. This will only grow when you study Wicca (& Astrology) properly, understanding the meaning behind the choices that are made. Please think carefully before spending large amounts of money on books (or courses) that only cover spell casting as these will never permit you to move forward with your own concepts or to truly understand the method behind the formulas. To fully appreciate the complex issue of these choices, and see how everything interlocks, find fulfilment in your magical work by dedicating yourself to some serious study. Then you will be able to let your own unique magical abilities flow and creatively express them in effective spells, charms and formulas.
