Our dream...

was to create a business that both of us could work at, enabling us (marriage partners & 'best' friends!) to develop an even closer and more rewarding relationship, while having the privilege to 'work' openly at our faith and have lots of fun in the process!  One day, when my husband retires from his very busy career, we will be in the fortunate position to be able to travel the country more extensively and attend many more fayres, festivals and conferences. 

Secrets of the Earth was born in the early part of 2003, starting as a very small word-of-mouth business, which has developed today into a much bigger venture than was ever dreamed about!!!  We now travel around the South West of England and Cornwall and have made wonderful friends this way.  In fact we are proud to say that we are now being 'head-hunted' to attend events such as the Pagan Federation Conference, The Mystic Arts in Olympia, London and other Fayres of good standing.

We hope to bring Druidry and Witchcraft practice within reach of those who seek as well as developing a special sense of community with our celebrations of the seasons.  This does not mean we evangelise or try to 'convert' people - we have no need or desire to do this - but do hope that we can raise the awareness of the New Age, answer questions where we can and dispel any fear that surrounds our belief system, making it more comfortable for our children (and their children) to practice openly.

Both of us love to craft magical things and hand-make many of the things we sell, choosing other items with care.  We are always searching for new things and support those who heal through their work, like K Robins our jewellery designer from America.

Our Philosophy...

is to provide metaphysical goods that are not only of the finest quality but are unusual and meaningful to those on a magical path.

We strive to care for the planet by using eco-friendly packaging such as recycled paper and glass etc. wherever possible.  With this in mind if you buy any of our products contained in glass we will refund you 25p for each bottle or jar we can re-use.

Feathers used in Celtic Moon's products are naturally shed and shells are not harvested but collected by our source from beaches.  We hand-craft our own beeswax candles (wholesaling these upon request) buying the wax from people who keep their owns bees and are well known in the UK for their honey products!!  We believe that beeswax offers the purest and most natural candles to enhance your magical work and are happy in the fact that it is chemical free.  Our small candles burn for about one hour and the larger for approximately two.  Hand-dipped taper candles in all colours are also available but are costly due to the lengthy process of creating them.

We use the highest quality oils, inks, herbs and herbal essences and make these at the optimum times - ie the correct Moon phase etc.  We grow many of our own herbs, sourcing the more diverse from a reputable company abroad and all are organic and handcrafted.  Many of our wooden crafted objects are again lovingly home made, which gives them both individual flair and soul. 

All our crafts are charged using astrological and weather conditions to further enhance their energy.

We always love to discover artistic talent, believing that individual and unique items bring wonderful depth to what we are able to offer to the public, after all we don't WANT to be the same as everyone else but to create fresh interest to Pagan shopping!  Therefore if anyone who creates their own products is interested in making a wholesale arrangement with us please do make contact!

Our Aims...

are to promote a healthy attitude to Druidry and Witchcraft practice, and to try and dispel any remaining fear that surrounds it.  We are happy to embrace those whose path differs from our own, knowing there are many individual journeys that lead us to the Divine, all of which are valid and sacred.

We also work hard at providing unique and good quality home made products for our magical range and strive to listen to your wishes and turn them into new creations.  The magical spells contained within the packs are all written (in rhyme) by Celtic Moon who puts each pack together with love and care.  Each pack comes with its own complete guidance with the aim that this will be both easy to understand and work.

We are also happy to answer your questions about any our products and ask that you do contact us by email if you wish further guidance.  We will return your messages as soon as we can.

is one of individual attention and care, each one of you is important to us and your happiness and satisfaction is something we take seriously. 

We hope that you will have confidence in us as individuals as well as practitioners and stallholders as we truthfully 'walk our talk' and hope to demonstrate this in our dealings with you by treating you honestly and fairly.

Our Workshops...

are both friendly and informative, years of practice and intense study have helped us to make these both comprehensive and fun. 

The Seasonal Celebrations we started last Samhain (2005) have been received with great interest by local (and some not-so-local) people and we enjoy these very much.  We intend to start these up again when our intended house move is complete - after all there are only 24 hours in a day!!

People of all ages and experiences are welcomed to our workshops and everyone is treated with respect, regardless of their beliefs.  All questions are respectfully answered to the best of our ability and none are deemed "too silly".
