Where Air dreams, Fire acts and Earth just simply is - Water feels with great empathy.  Its fluid and understanding energy is receptive and feminine, bringing clarity with the wisdom of divination.  Water permits growth with its intuitive and psychic abilities and lets us use our instinctive knowledge with true emotion and within Wicca practice links our emotions and instincts as it flows and unites us, not just to other people but also to the whole Universe of which we are a part.  Representing the religious element to your chosen path, Water is related to healing and our subconscious mind and offers us transformation and purification.  For this reason Water, like Earth, another female element, also represents death and rebirth.

Watery personalities make great friends and therapists as they have the ability to listen and be compassionate, mystical and creative.  When balanced by "grounded-ness" and rationality this is great, however, too much Water can lead a person towards addiction, depression and oversensitivity.
